About
I am an interior designer with 10 years postgraduate experience in Perth and Colombia. I have worked on a diverse range of projects in my career, including corporate office, healthcare and retail fit outs.
I am passionate about our industry and enjoy all aspects of design, from schematics, modeling through to documentation and contract administration. I particularly enjoy space planning, and the challenge of creating efficient, aesthetic and functional spaces.
I have demonstrated my ability to be bold and innovative in response to limited resources and challenges in the design. I am a motivated person committed to creating collaborative working environment through cooperation and positive leadership.
Current Role
Senior Interior designer, Freelancing

I am heavily involved in the documentation stages of projects, and pride myself on my attention to detail, ensuring that potential issues are addressed at an early stage. I work closely with contractors during construction phase to iron out any issues arising whilst on site, minimizing construction variations where possible.
I believe in the importance of effective communication, understanding the individual clients and their business backgrounds and facilitating harmonious relationships between client and design team.
Experience
Senior Design Manager, Build Well Group,– 2019-2021
Participated on all phases of a project, from programming through construction administration. Created multiple design concepts, presented to clients and project teams to receive design approval. Partnership and clear communication with consultants allowed achievement of design intent while maintaining control of scope, budget and schedule. Incorporated sustainable design with building codes, inspection regulations, and other considerations, such as accessibility standards.

Senior Interior designer, IA Design,– 2017-2018
As senior interior designer I oversee and worked along a team of designers to guide and provide feedback on all interior processes, from schematics and space planning to construction, making sure that ergonomic and safety aspects were addressed, ensuring the most cost effective solution was negotiated for the client, without compromising design intent.

Manager/Senior Interior designer, TKO Office fitouts– 2014–2017
In my role as manager/senior designer, I was responsible for overseeing the interior design department, managing projects, from inception and client briefing, through the construction to final handover. Liaison with contractors, suppliers and consultants,including some project management and contract administration.

Advised clients on interior design factors such as space planning, layout, furnishings, and colour coordination. I was in charge of documentation and detail shop drawings for construction plans.
